Wedding Flights: Your Questions Answered

It is normal to have questions before booking your wedding flight. Below are some of the most frequently asked. Simply click on each one to find the answers you are looking for. If there is something we have missed, please give us a call on 01603 518115.

Will you be able to land near the Church or the Wedding Venue?
Private landing sites need to meet minimum criteria, and we will carry out our own site survey to find out if your site is suitable. This is free of charge and with no obligation to book. In all cases, we will require the land owner’s permission.
What if the weather conditions on the day are unsuitable?
We pride ourselves on providing you with a wedding flight service that covers all eventualities. However flights are usually subject to suitable weather conditions on the day. We do recommend that you have a transport “back -up plan” if poor weather conditions prevent us from flying. This doesn’t happen very often but in the rare event that it does you would receive a full refund of all monies paid.
How many passengers can you carry in the helicopter?
Our EC120 helicopter has four passenger seats; one in the front next to the pilot, and three in the back. For wedding flights, we normally suggest that the bride and groom travel in the back on their own – especially if the bride’s dress is quite full – plus one passenger in the front.
Will there be time for photographs?
Yes, the helicopter and pilot will wait for you to take as many photographs as you like. If you would like the wedding photographer to travel in the aircraft with you, this is also a possibility.
Can you arrange for items to be placed in the helicopter?
Yes, we can arrange for Champagne (or any drink of your choice) including flowers to be placed in the helicopter ready for you. Please just let our team know what you would like and we will do our best to make it happen.
